Jingellic Reserve is a handy campsite with a ramp for boating.

Jingellic Reserve is convenient for boating, with a camp area nestled between the hotel and the Murray River, along with a boat ramp. The fishing is supposed to be pretty good. I met the new chef of the hotel, who has just returned home after cooking his way around the world. Look forward to hearing about the great food at this hotel.

The facilities are based behind the hotel building. Toilets are free but you need to buy a $3 token for the showers. Don’t put money in the box at the showers, tokens only here.

It’s a favourite with motorbike riders, so it can get full quickly on holidays.

Your guidebook may state no dogs, but this doesn’t seem to be the case. The local ranger assured me there is only one reserve that is dog free nature reserve along the Murray River. There may be differences between NSW and Victoria, but no signs are here stating ‘no dogs’. Other dogs had been camping for sometime, so I am sure it is OK.
